Summer 2022 Round-Up
Written by Carl Foisy
Summer 2022 was a busy one filled with unique video projects, new website development, and more. We typically see a slow-down in business needs during the summertime, but 2022 was the opposite of typical, and we delivered the goodness. Not only are we honored to be recognized twice this year as a San Jose Best for web design work, we feel pretty darn blessed to have created some new relationships in the community, and the work we did throughout Summer 2022 was very fulfilling. Here is a quick recap of some new projects we worked on this Summer.
We had opportunities to capture, produce and publish some great videos this summer. For locally owned restaurants, we helped Capers Eat & Drink announce their private event offerings, and Double D’s Sports Grille showcase their new patio. Two of our video projects were with a construction company that specializes in moving historic buildings, in which we activated our long-duration time-lapse cameras, and flew our drones around heavy equipment machines on construction sites. Both projects are fascinating, awesome endeavors, and not completed fully. We didn’t only work on business-related projects this summer. We also captured and produced a memorial movie for a San Jose local who made a huge impact in the community, while also helping another local figure in his quest to preserve local history by recording the stories and happenings from the local people who lived it….and since we love to keep things local, so far so good!
As for our website development projects, we successfully created and launched three gorgeous living websites. ArtByCori.com for a local artist who does beautiful commissioned work, JsRealtyCa.com for a local realtor, and RamaraFarms.com for a nut company. Each website had its own goals and requirements, and each were designed and launched every efficiently. We also performed website flips on two websites that we built years ago. CAPREservices.com for a local property management firm, and McTigheLandscaping.com who designs new hardscape, outdoor kitchens etc. These site-flips have allowed us to make updates and edits significantly quicker, while putting the site on a new level of look, feel and functionality.
We’re very fortunate that the summer didn’t just come to an end for us, because we’re currently working on 4-new websites. In the next few weeks we’re looking to launch websites for a Bay Area commercial plumber who specializes in healthcare facilities, the Silicon Valley Chapter of a US military officers association, a very unique vintage and historic building materials outfit, and a new organization that helps prepare students in high school and college for the working world. All the work we do is so very fulfilling, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of 2022 has in store for us.
