Honoring Life with Touching Tributes

Memorial videos for loved ones

Over the last decade there has been an unfortunately large number of requests for funeral memorial videos that have come into our inbox. It’s not the easiest thing to write about, but after producing dozens of memorial videos, we’ve been able to focus in on perfecting our craft in producing meaningful and rewarding videos. But it’s much deeper than simple video production to us, it’s a true honor to see families gleam with love when specific memories and emotions surface due to the videos we create.

Yes the overall creation of a quality memorial video can be time-consuming, but the end result is very satisfying and always worthwhile. The memorial videos we’ve produced have consisted of digitizing MiniDV tapes, DVDs, scanning 35mm Slides, scanning hundreds of pictures then photoshopping each one and putting them in chronological order, etc. Combining the person’s favorite music, starting out with beautiful baby pics, and elevating the decades of this person’s life with music from the times really brings together a great memorial video.

Where most people don’t think about all the assets and footage that can be used for a funeral memorial video, we think of and use things such as audio messages, text message pics and videos from one’s Facebook page really bring a personal touch and it makes a huge difference in the final product.

We hold a great honor of being able to provide these special videos to be played at the memorial service for loved ones to enjoy. In many cases, we’ve been brought to tears while creating these touching videos, some because of personal relationships, and some even when we have never met the person. It’s not our most glamorous service, but we create beautiful memorial videos because it helps families mourn, and the video is an everlasting tribute to the person who has passed.
